Families know to set their course for Anaheim, but once you get here, it can be easy to get into a slump. Fear not--we're here to help! There are tons of options, no matter your kids' ages or interests.

Top 8 Fun Things to Do With Kids in Anaheim

While Anaheim has a reputation for having fun things to do with kids, sometimes it's hard to look beyond the best-known attractions. We're sorry, Mickey--there's plenty of other stuff to do in Anaheim!

Adventure City

This small theme park has been described as one of Anaheim's best-kept secrets. It's a kid and family-centric place with tons of rides, games, and adventures. There are a handful of roller coasters, plane and balloon rides, a petting farm, and an arcade. Best of all, admission costs a fraction of a Disney ticket.

Looking for something a little more active and a little more air-conditioned? Sky Zone is an indoor trampoline park that offers tons of great activities. It's the perfect way to try something different on your vacation. Of the various activities you can choose, the Ultimate Dodgeball and the Free climb wall deserve a shout-out. If you have smaller kids in your group, they'll love the Little Leapers program.

Bowlero

Bowlero is a fantastic bowling alley. It's a great spot to spend the day or evening with your family in the name of some friendly competition. It also happens to be a stellar place to celebrate a birthday or event, with party menus for any group and a fun arcade. Billiards and a great sports bar are also part of the attraction here for the kids at heart.

Rock City Climbing Center

Are your kids climbing the walls? You might as well encourage them to do it literally, so take them to Rock City Climbing Center and see how high they can make it. This isn't the sort of wall climbing they've got at other amusement parks--Rock City is a training location for people who take the sport seriously. It's a great place to try a new hobby and learn a few new skills.

Camelot Golfland

Obviously, Camelot is all about the mini-golf--it's actually the largest mini-golf course in the entire country. But besides that, they've got a go-kart raceway, bumper boat course, mega arcade, and a laser tag facility. If all of this made you a little hungry, check out the pizza parlor and shakes for refreshments.

The indoor facility is fun for the whole family and gives an authentic Formula 1 flavor to the idea of go-karting. These single-seat go-karts have 20-horsepower electric motors and can get up to 45 miles per hour! Anyone can race so long as they're 48 inches tall or more. There are adult and junior leagues, and track times are posted online.

Cross Roads Escape Games

With multiple adventures, Cross Roads is a fun afternoon of puzzle-solving and mystery. Work as a team to see if you can make it out in 60 minutes or less! Cross Roads features a special version of their Fun House room designed especially for kids. It's aimed at those between 8 and 12 years old. Be sure to specifically request the kids' version during online checkout.
