While Disneyland Park might be the most popular park in the area, it's not the most relaxing. Instead of fighting for parking and paying for tickets, you can enjoy easy parking, free entry, and a more relaxing pace. Good picnic spots in Anaheim offer picnic tables, BBQ pits, views, trails, and water features. In addition, many parks have playgrounds for kids.

Yorba Regional Park

Yorba Regional Park is ideally situated along the Yorba River. It's over a mile long and has over 400 picnic tables and 200 BBQs scattered throughout the park. You won't have any trouble finding a relaxing spot for a picnic!

In addition to the picnic tables, Yorba Park offers trails, playgrounds, and sports areas. Check out the volleyball courts, ball diamonds, and horseshoe pits. Visitors are welcome to enjoy soccer and other ball games on the grass. In addition, visitors can go fishing or rent a paddleboat to enjoy the park's lakes and streams.

Laguna Lake Park

Hillcrest Park has different sets of staircases, so you can reach the park's different levels. The stone stairs are original and the wooden stairs were added more recently. Some of the stairs are one-way (either up or down). The stairs offer a great work-out and have viewing decks.
