Anaheim is Ducks country! The Anaheim Ducks have made the NHL playoffs more than a dozen times since being founded as an official Disney-sponsored team in 1993. Still, this team's "Hollywood start" hasn't stopped the Ducks from proving that SoCal can handle the cold for three decades.

To this day, locals are still talking about the big 2007 Stanley Cup win with smiles on their faces. Seeing the Ducks play anywhere is a treat. However, seeing a Ducks home game at Honda Center in Anaheim is an unforgettable experience. Known as the "Duck Pond" on game days, Honda Center is a 17,174-seat venue equipped with state-of-the-art technology to optimize the experience of being in the crowd on every level. Game attendees love watching Wild Wing flap his bill, flail his feathers, and ramp up the crowd while performing mascot duties. Of course, fans know to chime in with the high-energy lyrics of Pennywise's "Bro Hymn" when the team needs a punk-inspired moral boost out there on the ice.

Nov. 23 marks the date when the Ducks kick off their first home game of the 2022-2023 season in beautiful Orange County. Squaring off against the New York Rangers, the Ducks are sure to make all of Southern California proud. The game represents a showdown between teams from rival coasts. It's also a chance for an early-season comeback for the Ducks. During the Oct. 17 match between the Rangers and Ducks at Madison Square Garden, the Rangers managed to break a second-period 2-2 tie with three consecutive goals to ultimately earn a 6-4 victory over Anaheim's team. The loss only inspires Ducks fans to bring their all when they show up on November 23 for the first Anaheim Ducks home game of the 2022-2023 season.
